The rules, in order of importance
- 1
Credit is prepaid
One credit costs $0.0001. New accounts receive $100 of free credit, which is 1,000,000 credits. Calls deduct credit as they succeed. When the balance reaches zero the API returns HTTP 402.
- 2
Keep your key private
Calls made with your key are billed to your balance. If a key leaks, replace it from your account page and stop using the old one.
- 3
Use the API fairly
Do not hammer endpoints in ways that degrade the service for others, resell raw bulk dumps as a competing database, or try to reach the account system by other means.
- 4
Data has limits
The index is refreshed about monthly and is our own crawl. Counts will differ from Ahrefs, Semrush, Moz or Majestic. We make no promise that every link is present.
- 5
No outcome promises
Anchor reports are information. Acting on them can change nothing in search results, and we make no promise about rankings, traffic or penalty outcomes.
Payments and refunds
Top-ups are in USDT on the TRC-20 network from the account page. Blockchain payments cannot be reversed by us.
Mistakes happen. If you think a call was charged in error, or credit was not applied after a confirmed payment, raise it through your account page with the transaction ID so it can be looked at. Spent credit is not refunded.
Acceptable data use
Query what you have a reason to query. Competitor research, client audits and outreach vetting are normal uses.
You may keep the JSON you receive, store it in your own spreadsheets and show derived figures to clients. Do not present our Domain Rating as an official Google metric, and do not claim it equals Ahrefs DR or Moz DA, because it is our own number built from a public formula.
Availability and liability
We aim for a steady service. We cannot promise uninterrupted access.
To the extent the law allows, our liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us. We are not liable for lost profit or for decisions made from report data.
Free actions such as domain and overview may be rate-limited if abused.
Ending the agreement
You can stop any time by leaving the account unused or asking us to delete it. See the privacy policy for what removal means.
We may suspend a key that breaks these terms. We will tell you why when we can.
Questions go through your account page. Anchor Social is the operator.
